Nose

Aromas of fresh juicy ripe mango explode from the glass. Satisfying just to smell. 

Taste

Round and sweet flavors of mango are the star of this spirit, but it does not tip the scale into sugary, rather it is balanced with white pepper and pineapple husk. A slightly creamy texture adds to the allure of this mango-laden spirit. 

Method/Background 

Pechuga style agave spirit with an espadin base and local mangos. Designed as a tribute to the flavors of Oaxaca, and born out of a desire to support the local economy during the difficulties of the 2020 pandemic, Versus was crafted with seasonal ingredients from local vendors. The espadin mezcal is distilled with local ingredients in the second distillation. Available as a certified mezcal in Europe and as a destilado de agave in the USA.
