Puebla

Puebla is now part of the Denomination of Origin for Mezcal. It is bordered by Guerrero, Estado de Mexico, Tlaxcala, Hidalgo, Veracruz and Oaxaca. Puebla’s mezcal zone shares a bio reserve area with Oaxaca that is home to rare wild agaves. In addition to agave spirits, several other craft spirits are made in Puebla.
