Nuevo Leon

Nuevo Leon is in the northeastern part of Mexico and shares a tiny border with the United States. It is also bordered by Coahuila, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas. Nuevo Leon is not part of the DO for mezcal, and there are now only a handful of producers of agave spirits in the state. We will continue to update this page as we learn about new mezcals from Nuevo Leon.
