Guerrero

Guerrero is part of the Denomination of Origin for mezcal. The state is bordered by the Pacific Ocean, Michoacan, Estado de Mexico, Morelos, Puebla and Oaxaca. Some of the best mezcal in Mexico is made in Guerrero, where cupreata is the predonimant agave and a distillery is typically called a fábrica.
