The World of Mezcal
Join Mezcalistas Max Garrone and Susan Coss as well as Guelaguetza’s Bricia Lopez this July 25th for a mezcal tasting at San Francisco’s Bold Italic. It’s a ticketed event so make sure to grab yours before they’re gone. We’ll be tasting Alipus, Pierde Almas, Del Maguey, Metl, Wahaka, and a potential surprise. Also included: A sampling of flavor enhancing appetizers, a chance to try a signature mezcal cocktail, and of course, music.
Max co-founded Mezcalistas with Susan way back in 2012. Before that he was a journalist at Salon.com and The San Francisco Chronicle.

Hi Ron,
We don’t have any events in the near future. Half of this blog, Susan Coss, just flew to Oaxaca yesterday so we’ll be posting about her trip frequently from the blog. We’ll definitely be posting to the blog, Twitter and Facebook about any future tastings but I doubt they’ll occur before the Spring. What’s your connection to mezcal and where are you located?
