Xicala Mezcal is produced with the 100% agave Espadin grown in the Valley of Tlacolula Oaxaca. It is produced at the Distileria Tlocalula which has been producing mezcal since 1920. It also has the distinction of being Nom-001X, or the very first registered distillery.
