Tomas Artesanal mezcal Tepeztate is made with 100% wild maguey Tepeztate. Maguey Tepeztate is a prized wild agave that can take up to 25 years to mature! The agave is roasted for five days in a traditional earthen pit oven, fermentation with wild yeast that existing the micro-environment, and double distilled in a copper alembique still. Hand crafted and distilled in the small village of Santa Ana del Rio, Oaxaca, Mexico.
