Nixta Licor de Elote is another project from Ivan Saldana along with the Abasolo Mexican corn whiskey. Nixta is a corn liquor made from a mix of fresh corn mash and white corn whiskey.
About 160 grams sugar/liter makes for a very sweet licor that comes from a mixture of corn, piloncillo, and the white spirit. It has a
rich corn flavor highlighted by vanilla and light atole. This is made to mix, especially with coffee, horchata, and similar mixers.
