Neta Tobaziche is about as small as you can get with just 44 liters produced total and 40 of them imported to the US. I don’t know if there has ever been a label devoted to a production this small but Celso Garcia Cruz has made something so unique that tasting it will transform your understanding of what a mezcal can be.
Unfortunately this bottle sold out almost as soon as it hit the market so if you see it on a bar shelf or, more likely, someone’s home bar, demand a sample.
