Mal de Amor Tobala is produced by Maestro Mezcalero Armando Hernandez and his brother Alvaro in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. Armando and Alvaro are 3rd generation Maestro Mezcaleros. They grew up making mezcal with their father, learning the techniques handed down from their grandfather. They double distill all their mezcal in 250 liter copper pot stills.
