Macurichos Karwinskii Ensamble is produced using in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, México using four types of Agave karwinskii: Maguey Cirial, Maguey Madrecuishe, Maguey Barril, and Maguey Bicuishe. The agaves in this field blend are cooked in an earthen oven, milled using a stone tahona mill, fermented in wooden vats, and distilled twice using copper pot stills. This ensamble has bright and zesty notes of freshly cut herbs, melon, and citrus.
