La Remilgosa Durango Verde is made with maguey Verde (Agave salmiana crassispina) in Nombre de Dios, Durango. Maestro vinatero Gilberto Roldan roasts the agave in an underground pit oven, mills them by hand with an axe and wooden mallet, ferments using in-ground wooden vats with spring water, and double distills.
