The Del Maguey Crema feels like a call back to an earlier era when this sort of drink was much more commonly found in Oaxaca. The fact that they continue to sell it says something about the continuity in the brand and its identity – it remains one of the few or potentially only cremas on the market in the US. It’s a mixture of 10% roast agave syrup and 90% San Luis del Rio mezcal.
