5 Sentidos Bicuixe was produced with wild-harvested maguey Cuixe, agave Karwinskii, by mezcalero Atenogenes Garcia in San Isidro Guishe, Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. After being cooked underground for 6 days, the roasted magueys were crushed by a two-ton tahona pull by an old Ford tractor. Next, the smashed agaves were fermented in two pine vats along with calcium-rich well water for nine days. Lastly, it was double distilled in copper and then adjusted to its current ABV with well water and tails.
