Nose
Floral aromas mix with red fruit notes and touch of smoke and chili for a pleasant and restrained nose.
Taste
The same delicacy on the palate, the flavors are well integrated and soft. At first ripe and floral notes of strawberries, brown sugar, and orange zest are at the fore, slowly evolving into a soft leathery smokiness with earthy undertones. A smooth and steady subtle spice lingers on the finish. There is delicacy and elegance in every sip.
Method/Background
This artisanal mezcal is produced from ripe agaves that are cooked in an in-ground pit, hand crushed, open air fermented in wooden tanks, double distilled in small copper pot stills, and adjusted with distillation tails.
