Pescador de Sueños

Pescador de Sueños Mezcal is a project of Destileria Santa Sabia that presents unique collections of select mezcal batches aimed at rescuing the mysticism and folklore of this ancient Mexican tradition. The mystical aspect of the brand appears in the name which means “the fisherman of dreams.” Pescador de Sueños is focused on single batch productions from independent and well-regarded master distillers. In order to preserve flavors and properties that the agaves have developed throughout their life, once distilled, each batch is matured in glass at least a year inside rooms with temperature and controlled light.

The mezcal bottles themselves are works of art and are distinct with their almost claw like appearance.

Pescador de Sueños Pechuga is made by maestro mezcalero Felix Angeles Arellanes in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, where the average altitude is more than 1500 meters above sea level. Felix is part of the Angeles family that produces Real Minero and Lalocura. They all live on the same road and produce agave spirits in a similar fashion. He has worked in mezcal production for over three decades in Minas.
