Mezcal Burrito Fiestero
Founded in the northern state of Durango -the Mexican Wild West. Mezcal Burrito Fiestero is focused on delivering the purest flavors of Northern Mexico by using traditional artisanal methods in small batch productions. The mezcal was born in the hands of Don Juan Conde in an ancient abandoned hacienda in the heart of the agave land.
The brand also has an agave reforestation program to plant one agave for every bottle of mezcal made. They also use solar energy to power the vinata, including the mechanical mills which crush the agave, and heating the copper stills rather than using wood. Additionally, they make use of the by products with the idea of using every part of the agave plant. They make agave bricks, used mainly for the construction of the new vinata, compost by turning agave leftovers such as spikes and fibers into compost for the greenhouse. and water treatment by treating the vinazas to take away the acidity and use it for irrigation.
