Agave gypsicola

This species grows primarily in the Oaxacan Mixteca Alta and has medium, short fat pencas,  and is very light, almost white in color. It has a non-branching quiote and takes 8-10 years to mature. It reproduces via seed. Its varieties include Cenizo.
