Introducing Loootería Mezcalista!
Loootería Mezcalista is based on the classic Mexican Lotería, only with a mezcal twist. If you have never played lotería, it is like bingo, but with the image cards taking the place of the letters and numbers that are called.
Each card, hand designed by Oaxacan artist (and Mezcalistas’ creative director), Cristina Mariana Garcia, represents an aspect of mezcal history, culture and process. Also a big shout out to Sandra Ortiz Brena of In Situ and Ana Jacinto Blanco of Mezcalistas and Recia for their insight and help with terminology!
