Nose
I do mean this is a good way; dank and moldy desert after a monsoon, and I’m all about it!
Taste
The flavor matches the nose but adds more to the party with some baking spices, black pepper, and crisp green apples which leads to a nice long, spiced finish. While this is interesting it is not overwhelming and I definitely dig it.
Production details
- Roast: Earth pit
- Crush: Axe
- Distillation: Copper pot stills
Background
With over twenty five years of experience in the agave distillate industry as an importer and brand owner, Juan Pablo of Tequila Specialists launched Puntagave to express the distilled flavors of Mexico. Each with depth of flavor and character but still very approachable for those who are just venturing outside of the world of tequila.
