Macurichos Tepeztate is produced using 100% Maguey Tepeztate (Agave marmorata) in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, México. After growing for 18 to 30 years, the harvested agaves are cooked in an earthen oven, milled using a stone tahona mill, fermented in wooden vats, and distilled twice using copper pot stills.
