José Andrés’ mezcal festival moves west with events at his Las Vegas outpost China Poblana.  Per their special events page:

March 14: 5-7 PM with special guest Ron Cooper of Del Maguey Mezcal
March 23: 5-7 PM with special guest José “Pepe” Hermosillo of Casa Noble Tequilas

Tequila & Mezcal Chef’s tasting dinner with special guests:
Enjoy tasting menus specially constructed by Head Chef Shirley Chung and paired with featured cocktails and flights, curated by Ron Cooper (March 14, 7:30 PM) and Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo (March 23, 7:30 PM).

This week in mezcal

First up one of José Andrés’ Washington, D.C. outposts, Oyamel, is celebrating mezcal this week with tastings 3/5-3/8 from 4-6PM and special dinners with two mezcal luminaries, Ron Cooper from Del Maguey and Stephen Meyers from Illegal.  Check out the Oyamel posting on the events for complete information.

Then, Tuesday March 6 Las Perlas in downtown LA Is featuring a Fidencio tasting.  RSVP is required.
